ウクライナの子どもたちのオンライン授業60回目を振り返ります。

Title: A Fun Storybook to Review the Year 1 English 

Date: June 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th, 10:00 Kiev Time

Description: “Annie and the Map” is a fun storybook to review the Year 1 English. Meet Annie, Ted and Digger the dog. We will read one chapter each week. Join in the fun of reading and solving little mysteries to review words and grammar.

ウクライナは9月に新学年が始まり、5月末に終了します。5月初めにNGOから連絡があり「6月から8月の夏休みは学年度中より多くの子どもがオンライン授業に参加することが予想されるので、サマープログラムとして1ヶ月単位の告知をしたい」とのことでした。

そこで、English Time Storybookを使うことにしました。

普段の授業より「英語授業」っぽい進行にしました。reviewする英文（grammar）を見せて練習することでpre-readingにしました。初めて見る登場人物の顔と名前は彩子先生がWho’s Missing?ゲームで教えました。Reading togetherでは、絵について気づかせ、本文を読んで聞かせ、希望する子どもにミュートをはずして音読させました。何回か当たったCちゃんが「私は読んだばかりだからMちゃんに当ててください。」と言うので感心しました。

子どもたちは、授業最後の彩子先生が教えるフォニックスを楽しみにしています。よく考えて単語を予想します。語彙力も思考力も養う活動です。
